12 days of crafting: owl calendar

From December 1-12, I’ll be blogging about some of my favorite crafting methods and projects. Hopefully you will be inspired to craft some Christmas gifts or handmade decor for your own home!

Day 7: Owl Calendar

Okay, all you non-crafters out there – this is your day! If you can print something off your computer and cut a straight line, this is for you!

See, there is this awesome website all about owl stuff – My Owl Barn. It’s just great. And the best part? They offer a yearly printable Owl Lovers Calendar for free!

But wait, there’s more! Not only is it a free printable, but you get to choose your own owl pictures for each month. And they get a bunch of artists to contribute, so there’s a fun variety – 45 to choose from! If you are the type that gets overwhelmed by too many possibilities, they have a pre-made calendar you can download too!

What are you waiting for? This is the easiest gift ever, not to mention a fun little decoration for your own home.

Go make it right now:

I included little easels (like the one pictured above) for the calendars I gave as gifts, but you could do whatever – a photo frame would work great too. Or if you had wall space, you could string them all up on a line with clips… so many fun possibilities!

Thank you Owl Barn!
