Cooking day. I pre-made the sauce (with onions and basil from our garden) for my favorite Rachel Ray recipe that I’ll be making on Thursday (all I’ll have to do then is make the pasta, toss it with cheese & pesto, cover with the sauce and broil briefly). Besides that, I put the meat in the crockpot for these yummy french dip sandwiches – thanks to Stephanie for recommending them on her new meal planning blog! We had them for dinner tonight and they were so tasty! Both recipes allow for lots of leftovers, which is another great time saver.
